May is upon us now. Gardening, graduations, weddings, dance recitals, proms and that’s not including any quilting projects. OK so I guess everyone is overbooked, overworked, overextended and over exhausted. Why not chill out and work on one or more of your quilting projects? A small amount of time each day can chisel away at those unfinished projects and free you up to search for a new project. A project list is a good place to start. Why not prioritize your projects for the year and work off a select number, not too challenging now is that? Once you’ve completed a project, you’ll have a sense of accomplishment and will begin to see the bottom of your fabric stash. Who doesn’t want to purchase additional fabric? Let’s get moving, motivated and bring in your work for the show and tell at the next meeting.

In October, Shirley Fisher will be conducting a workshop on perfecting your applique skills. This will be a great time to utilize what you’d learned in the previous workshop and learn new techniques. You can download the newsletter here QBS May Newsletter.
