Quilters by the Sea Quilt Guild’s two Advocacy Project Quilts were on display. These quilts represented an international collaboration with women refugees from the conflicts in Iraq, Syria and elsewhere in the Middle East who have sought refuge in Amman, Jordan, under the auspices of the Advocacy Project.    The artists worked as a cooperative, the Hope Workshop, to produce the embroidery with support from the Collateral Repair Project, an organization that assists refugees and other victims of war and conflict in Amman.  Quilters by the Sea members stitched the embroidered pieces into quilt blocks and then pieced and quilted the two finished quilts.
