DESCRIPTION:Tina Craig of Seaside Stitches is our kick off speaker! Tina is an active member of both Ninigret Quilters and Narragansett Bay Quilters\, sister guilds in the West Bay. Her presenta-tion\, “EPP vs. FPP: The Showdown!” English Paper Piecing and Foundation Paper Piecing have been around for a long time\, with EPP experiencing renewed popularity with the millefiori quilt craze a few years ago. Quite a few of our members are proficient paper piecers\, but it can be intimidating if you are unfamiliar with the techniques\, advantages of one versus another\, etc. Let Tina share her insights in a new hour-long program – you might discover a new addiction!

Her work has been included in books and publications such as Modern Quilts: Designs of the New Century\, Modern Patchwork\, and International Quilt Festival Scene. She self-publishes and distributes her patterns through quilt shops and online. She also teaches quilting techniques at quilt guilds and conferences across the country. Sheri was awarded the first annual Craftsy Quilt Designer Fellowship in 2016. As an active member of the modern quilt community\, Sheri collaborates with leading industry organizations including fabric and thread manufacturers like Aurifil\, QT Fabrics\, Paintbrush Studios\, Robert Kaufman Fabrics\, RJR Fabrics and Windham Fabrics.
