BEE BLOCKS is a group of QBS members who sew two blocks per month for each other. A roster is created of those members in the Bee Block group and a monthly schedule, starting in September, is created and sent out to all. The listed member (aka Queen Bee) for each month chooses a block, and the pattern, colors, and any other important information is then sent out to the group. Each group member makes two blocks for the Queen Bee and brings to the next meeting. The recipient can then make what they want with the blocks – a lap quilt, NICU donation quilt, wall hanging, quilt coat – the sky’s the limit! The Bee Blocks group is a lot of fun and helps you build new skills and meet members, and new members are always welcome.
