Mariner’s Compass Workshop and Open Sew

Come and join us Saturday May 3 to learn how to make Mariner’s Compass blocks as described by Robin Long during our previous meeting. Members do need to purchase the ruler and pattern book from Robin Long’s website, www.robinruthdesign.com, before being able to make the block, as her technique to make the block requires a specific ruler. If you do not wish to make the Mariner’s Compass but want to join us anyway this event will also be an Open Sew Saturday. Bring your own projects and sewing machine to work on. The event itself costs $10 for anyone working on the Mariner’s Compass Block or working on Open Sew Saturday to cover the cost of renting the facility. We will all be sewing from 9am-3pm.
